"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving
the Lord Christ"

-Colossians 3:23-24

Dave Keddington

Associate Pastor

God did not promise to tell us all we might want to know.
Therefore, at times, the best answer to the most challenging theological questions is, "I don't know."  But He did promise to satisfy our greatest need ... deliverance from sin.  We would be well advised to focus on what He did say and less on what He did not say.

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

-Philippians  4:7

Matthew Murphy

Director  of Christian Education

As a compass seeks North, so we seek the Truth.
How can we know the truth except through it's source?
All Scripture is breathed out by God and given to us that we might know Him more fully and walk in His ways. I am blessed to be part of a ministry that pursues the truth above all else in the name of Christ.
Let us study together and gain knowledge;
let us listen together and become wise.

"For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ."

-2 Corinthians 2:17

Dr. Tamara McCoy

Minister of Worship & Music

Music ministry is a form of service to God, ourselves, and to others, regardless of where they are in life. I am privileged to provide the musical means of connecting to our Lord through songs that share messages of praise, hope, faith, and thankfulness. Whether we are making music as a congregation, as individual musicians, or as ensembles such as the choir or the praise team, we are serving our lord in a prayerful and impactful way.

"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace"

-1Peter 4:8-11

Katelyn Beaujean

Administrative Assistant

Whether you’re popping into the office, calling with a question, or sending an email, we’ll probably cross paths.
Behind every event, conversation, and opportunity for connection are countless details that help ministry happen.
I’m grateful to support those behind-the-scenes moments and help create a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and connected in Christ.

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Patty Ernst

Media Director

After moving to Anchorage, I didn't know many people, which made it difficult to connect with others and share the message of the Triune God. God has blessed me with a creative spirit; and it is a privilege to serve on the media team because it allows us to share God's Word with people far beyond those who are able to attend church in person.

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'

-Romans 10:14-15

Albino Kong

Associate Pastor,  Sudanese Ministry

Sudanese ministry at Anchorage Lutheran Church – a Christian mission solemnly devoted to developing partnerships among Nuer-speaking denominations in Anchorage, Alaska. The purpose is to exalt the name of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, evangelism, ministry, and mission outreach programs. These activities will be guided by our faith in Christ Jesus and by our affirmation of God’s words, to share the love of Jesus Christ with the world and to love one another.

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

-Matthew 28:19-20
